The project
Settled in The Hague, this residential house became this the new home of an expat family. A place to stay for a long time. A place to come home to.
The clients needed serenity. Keeping the dark stone floor, it was necessary to make other spatial interventions that gave light and air to the space.
The design
Making a new home in a new place in the world. Firm architects researched where the clients’ roots were and translated the story of 2 people in their new home.
