The project
Hague Conference on Private International Law
With 83 Members (82 States and the European Union) representing all continents, the Hague Conference on Private International Law is a global inter-governmental organisation. A melting pot of different legal traditions, it develops and services multilateral legal instruments, which respond to global needs.
The space
Their relocation from a beautiful old villa to an office floor on Churchillplein required a change of mindset. Space needed to be divided better, functions needed to be combined smarter. Working and meeting bilingual required a different approach to some of the spaces.
One of the key elements of this design is the flexible conference room which is transformable in 5 different settings. The overall design of this office is calm, peaceful and balanced. With carefully chosen materials and beautiful detailing the office breathes tranquillity.
