The project
SIG – Software Improvement Group – rents an office floor in the Edge Olympic on Fred Roeskestraat. This location is the software company’s headquarters.
The design
SIG’s identity and the way they work were at the core of our design. An interplay of layering, security, as well as transparency and visibility. These principles form the basis for the design. The design plays with degrees of visibility and privacy. There are different zones in the office: public and private zones. The demarcation of these zones is dynamic: the starting point was to create flexible boundaries.Movable walls and sliding doors can change spaces in size and direction. In the boardroom, Firm placed doors on all sides of the space. Thus, when not in use, the “static” boardroom becomes a frequently used passageway in the office.An eye-catcher in the boardroom is the 4.5-meter-long table made of circuit boards.
